CHAIRMAN'S MESSAGE

Education encompasses teaching and learning specific skills, and also something less tangible but more profound: the imparting of knowledge, positive judgment and well-developed wisdom. The Jamuna Ram Memorial Trust was founded keeping in mind these ideals about education. From the beginning, with the establishment of each and every institution, we have inched closer to the perfect balance between intellect, experience and rationale of knowledge, thereby creating a perfect atmosphere wherein the transfusion of all of those mentioned above can take place effortlessly.
Jamuna Ram Memorial School Chitbaragaon (JRMS) is a happy culmination of painstaking research, deep soul searching and an intense desire to develop a world class educational campus with a warm and friendly atmosphere rooted in Indian ethos. The concept of ‘Change’ is always welcome at JRMS as the horizon of knowledge, especially in the world we live today, seems to be broadening every single day. Hence it is only wise to create a system of learning and living wherein there is a constant flux of activities and infrastructure so as to ensure the development and exposure of young minds to new value based education and latest technologies that aid in the value delivery of education.
Apart from being an administrator, I have donned the role of a student once and a professor as well, and having experienced both faces of the coin, it is of my opinion that the relation between a teacher and student is symbiotic in nature and one cannot exist without the other. It has always been a firm belief of mine in the ideals of George Bernard Shaw when he states: “What we want is to see the child in pursuit of knowledge, and not knowledge in pursuit of the child.”
